Statement on vendor relationships
Editorial ranking published by Ronald Renaud. Funding: Personal project of the publisher. No advertising, no vendor payments. Vendor data comes from the public sources listed on each profile, and the methodology was fixed before data collection. Independence claims are withheld until the publisher's public profile is verifiable (see the editorial policy).
How vendors are selected
Candidates come from a fixed list prepared before research began, plus testing companies that rank for the main search query and were not on that list. Every candidate goes through the same scope gate and completeness check, described on the methodology page. Being well known does not earn a place; a public record of healthcare testing work does.
How the ranking is updated
Vendor data carries a check date. When the data is refreshed, every ranked vendor is collected again with the same instruction, scores are recomputed with the same frozen weights, and the date at the top of the ranking changes. A vendor can ask for a factual correction at any time through the process in the editorial policy.
